I can’t recommend Shu highly enough! After struggling with my GMAT/EA prep despite attending another course, Shu’s unique approach completely changed the game for me - literally. He helped me realize that these tests are just like a game: with the right strategies and practice, you can keep improving. This shift in mindset not only boosted my performance but also strengthened my confidence.
Beyond test prep, Shu played a crucial role in crafting a strong application strategy for Round 1, which ultimately led to my acceptance at Columbia, NYU, and Darden. I was also fortunate to receive a significant financial aid package from Columbia.
Shu’s guidance, expertise, and encouragement were invaluable throughout the process. If you’re looking for a mentor who truly cares about your success and has the knowledge to get you there, Shu is the place to go.

I can't think of someone better to have worked with on my MBA application process. Shu is incredibly knowledgeable about the whole process, has great instincts about how things will land with admissions committees, and is generous with his time.
While other consultants wanted me to aim for lower schools based on my GMAT score, Shu saw all of the disparate strengths in my profile and helped me craft them into one cohesive narrative. I ended up getting into two of HSW, and I attribute a lot of that to his guidance! He also goes above and beyond in providing extra help, making time to talk through things last minute, etc. More than just a consultant, Shu is an all-around mentor and a great person to have in your corner as a sounding board.

From the very first moment, I knew I was in the best hands. I had never applied to (or even thought about) top universities in the United States.
From the first meeting with Shu, I understood that the raw idea I had, which was solely based on a dream, would quickly take shape thanks to his expertise. And that’s exactly what happened; thanks to him, I was able to create applications that concretely and accurately reflected my journey and aspirations.
Gaining admission to all the universities we applied to was the result of a collaborative effort carried out in a very professional manner.

I met Shu back in February of 2025. At that point, I had taken the GMAT twice and gotten the same score, nothing remotely close to the average scores of my aspirational schools. Throughout the next few months, Shu re-taught me every concept and gave me structure in my preparation. It was not an easy path, but after several more attempts, I got the score I needed. For the actual MBA applications, Shu worked to truly understand my story and helped pull out a narrative that was uniquely me. From there, I worked on putting together my essays for all of the schools.
By the end I had applied to 9 programs and received acceptances into 7 of them, 2 being M7 programs. I would recommend Shu as he truly cared and was invested in my journey.

Shu made a real difference in my MBA application process. He supported me end-to-end - from GMAT prep, where I significantly improved my score to a level competitive for top MBA programs, to refining my overall application strategy.
What stood out most was his brutally honest and constructive feedback, which pushed me to think deeper and present a much stronger story. He genuinely cared about my success and tailored his guidance to my goals.
I highly recommend him to anyone serious about strengthening their MBA applications

I got in touch with Shu after a friend of mine told me he was the best GMAT tutor she had ever worked with (and there were many). She was absolutely right.
At the time, I had been studying on and off with one of the most popular online prep courses available, but I was not getting anywhere. I had to start almost from scratch, and Shu's personalized approach was a game-changer.
There are three things that make a great tutor:
(i) a personalized approach;
(ii) deep expertise; and
(iii) an engaging teaching style. Shu has all three.
Shu also helped me with my MBA applications, and I will now be attending my dream school! If you need a GMAT tutor or an MBA consultant, there is not a doubt in my mind that you should contact Shu!

I highly recommend Shu for anyone navigating the GMAT and MBA application process. I first connected with him on Reddit at a time when I was stuck at a stubborn plateau with my GMAT Quant score and unsure of how to break through. Finding Shu completely changed the trajectory of my journey. Working with Shu was a deeply personalized experience. He doesn't offer a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all framework. Instead, he took the time to understand my specific strengths, weaknesses, and goals. What sets Shu apart is his incredibly thorough, end-to-end guided process. He helped me navigate every crucial milestone, including: 1) School Selection: Sharpening and narrowing down the programs that truly fit my career goals and culture preferences. 2) Story Architecture: Helping me dig deep to uncover and highlight my unique story arc, making my essays and application stand out. 3) Rigorous Review: Facilitating a meticulous review process that included peer feedback and insights from experienced professionals to ensure my package was flawless. 4) Submission Walkthrough: Patiently guiding me through the final mechanics of the submission process so I felt completely confident hitting "submit." 5) When it came time for interviews, Shu’s support was invaluable. His mock interview sessions were highly encouraging yet realistic, equipping me with actionable feedback and key talking points that allowed me to walk into the real interviews feeling entirely prepared. Even after the intense application cycle ended, Shu continued to check in and advise me on navigating the scholarship negotiation process and final decisions. Shu is truly an exceptional consultant who genuinely invests in his clients' long-term success.

I met Shu through someone who later became a friend and a Shu alumnus. He strongly encouraged me to reach out because of Shu's exceptional track record helping Latin American candidates get into top MBA programs. From the very first interaction, Shu was always willing to help. I still remember how he took time during his holidays to speak with me. During our first video call, he walked me through a detailed presentation with a clear action plan tailored to my background, goals, and even some fun facts we discussed along the way. Shu played a key role in helping me build and communicate a compelling story throughout the application process. His guidance was instrumental in securing interview invitations from almost all the schools I applied to and ultimately an admission offer from my target program. I highly recommend Shu, not solely for his expertise in MBA admissions, nor solely for his quantitative acumen, but because working with him felt natural from day one. Our conversations were always friendly, honest, and productive, which made this transformational process much easier to navigate. What impressed me most was the combination of his knowledge of MBA programs, his relationships across top schools, and the results he has consistently delivered for applicants. His multicultural experience also adds a valuable perspective, as he understands the economic, political, and cultural realities that shape candidates' stories and how different schools evaluate them. Combined with his understanding of each program and the people behind them, his advice always felt thoughtful, relevant, and tailored to my specific situation. For any Latin American candidate aspiring to attend a top MBA program, I could not recommend Shu more highly.

Shu was the best partner I could have asked for throughout my MBA application process. He consistently pushed me to raise my standards while staying patient and thoughtful in guiding me through each step. He played a key role in both my exam preparation, spending nights and weekends working through it with me, and in shaping my story and applications. His ability to challenge me while providing clarity and direction made a real difference in my outcome. I highly recommend him and am happy to speak with anyone considering working with him

When I first contacted Shu, I was considering MBA programs ranked 30 and above. I had a conversation with Shu, and he told me that I was not pushing myself hard enough, and believed I could get into top programs like Darden, Stern, and others.
Shu put me through his GMAT/EA and MBA prep process starting in May 2025. He was patient with me, and never stopped believing I could achieve. I couldn't let him down. I'm a success today because I had a friend who believed in me and I didn't have the heart to let him down.”
In the end, I had my pick of admissions to top programs in the US, and I owe it all to Shu. I count him as a coach, a mentor, and most importantly: a friend.
UVA (DARDEN) Class of 2028

I cannot thank Shu enough for his support during my Master in Finance journey. Beyond the technical prep and the GMAT, Shu took the time to truly understand my goals and motivations. He acted as a sounding board, helping me evaluate my options and choose the path that best aligned with my future.
His support is much more than just admissions coaching; it’s genuine mentorship
